Getting Started with MicroPython/CircuitPython

PRE-REQUISITES:

Thonny IDE

Ensure the Thonny IDE is installed on your computer. Once installed and setup is complete, proceed with the next steps.

MicroPython and CircuitPython uf2 file

The uf2 file can be downloaded from atrivatech.com/software

STEPS:

  1. Ensure all power and USB-C Cables are disconnected from the PicUNO.
  2. Ensure the board is set to USB mode.
  3. Press and hold the bootsel button.
  4. While holding the BOOTSEL button, connect the USB-C Cable.
  5. Drag and Drop the uf2 file based on distribution of choice.
  6. Open Thonny IDE.
  7. Select the correct interpreter.
  8. Start coding.
